MPL Styles automatic manually template |
|
|
Symptom: (public)
It seems that MPL Styles has to be loaded manually in all new P&ID diagrams. |
|
|
Problem: (public)
The MPL Styles are customer-specific and not part of the standard konfiguration of CADISON.
The problem is that the template files can´t predefined with the MPL Styles and has to be done each time by hand. |

|
Solution: (public)
The MPL Styles must be defined as default in the template files (i.e. PID-diagram.dwt).
Here a small turorial:
1. Open a new PID drawing in the Designer
2. Add all needed MPL Styles to the drawing and save the drawing.
3. Open the *.dwg file in AutoCAD pure (without CADISON) and create with the command "Save to..." a new *.dwt template file.
4. Copy this new *.dwt file into the template folder of CADISON (i.e. ?\ITF\CADISON\Template\English\CAD-Templates). To be on the save side, save your old template file.
6. Rename your *.dwt file in i.e. "PID-diagram.dwt".
5. When you now create a new PID drawing the Styles are already predefined and ready for use. |
